Is there any kind of limit for aliases?

From some time it seems mine aliases are full - when I add a new one it does not save after I quit.

Some tests: look like the limit is dependent on the amount of text - when I delete a short one, I can add a short one. To add a long one (like a path) I need to delete a long one.

Which aliases are youreferring to? The ones in settings, or the ones with the command <alias>?

Sorry I pressumed it is obvious, since it is "Genesis Web Client" section. Of course I am referring to the client.
