I actually think it's better with a higher or no cap on battles, because people are getting stuck in arenas. Even lower ones. Just raise the cap or something, cause I'd like to move out of green...

The problem with having no 'cap' as you put it is that players just hog the arena by non-stop spamming battles over and over, not letting anyone get in at all.
I'm working on a solution for this, in the meantime if I see a bunch of players getting stuck at a certain rank, I'll add another arena for that rank.
