Hi there!
I think it would be a considerable idea to make it happen, that every once in a while, a strange forging material would fall from the stars and brought to Bores, the head of the Blacksmiths guild, the material would be readied to forge a weapon or armour from it.
For instance:
Strange iron bar.
Upon forging, the bar would produce as an outcome an equipment that's more durable, or even unbreakable.

I like this idea, if it would happen very rare.
