G.
Upkeep should be per locker size per day. Something that would poke a small dent in a bank account of a big player. Also no arma saving. This should be luxury service, expensive enough to be able to store only your most valuable items.

Code is likely still there.

And If you get that I want their dogs as a club/racial.
Cool messengers, very high awareness that will auto reveal sneakers and ultra fast tracking skill.
I know a few people who would carry around like 25 dogs ;)

I like the idea of dogs as pets that can be purchased. A club might not work (who wouldn't want free messengers). But, I like the idea of being able to buy one (for a price). I think unless they were rather expensive or a racial guild they shouldn't be messengers and have auto reveal sneakers and fast tracking skills. Maybe should have two of the three.

They walk along beside you not carried. Had emotes and stuff.
You sent them on a message then they stayed with the other person till they sent them somewhere else or you recalled it.

How about putting the lockers up on auction and limit them, say to 3 per Arma? This way only the highest bidders get their locker for one uptime.

So who really needs a locker? What is a common enough question all you newbie line helpers and users hear? Well:

<Newbie> Frost: Is there someplace I can put my stuff so I don't loose it?
<Newbie> HelpsAlot(+): no
<Newbie> Frost: Cool

So where do all the Newbies tend to hang out if they are hardened enough to reach Sparkle? Well, they eventually make their way to Gelan, to the schools there; although it is possible some kind soul might decide to show them the realms but, no, Gelan. And once they do they more often than not find them empty, and void of teaming opportunities. So why not, if we want to give the newbies a welcoming turn, give lockers to all small members of both the Cadets and Academics. Then see about offering lockers to bigger players in return for helping school the newbies. Something like room and board for their services?

So those who RP evils and don't help newbies don't get one?

They have racks in Gelan.

Why would they need lockers?
I'd rather they actually learn to share stuff with guildmates.

That is how it works everywhere else.
So they might as well get on board that train.

Not all guilds have rack logs. Those who don't quickly learn what rack looting is and lose interest in sharing.

I do not know about that but what I do know is that what I mentioned was not in the spirit of a total solution, so to speak. It was only that if we are to have lockers, one way we could have them is through Gelan.

I agree, halfway, they should get on board and anyone who plays through Tutori isle will have started to get their fair share of what is on board. But you get me wrong. This proposition is only in part about lockers, it is more about finally giving some clarifying mature influence by way of the actual presence of players who already care and can teach about sharing the racks, not stealing from guild mates, all the virtues of a guild life, whatever.

Yes, I think I get you. The academics I know for sure do not have them. It is difficult I imagine in any guild with comparable activity, or should I say such low activity of some leadership or whatnot, that without guild logs - anyway, I do not use them because it is 75% certain that it won't be there.

But, Tarax, I am sorry. This is a Top Ideas of 2017, not argue your lame ideas and take up a whole page... of 2017. HA - Sibbie
