Idea for an event, The C.P.H. Frenzy..

Wanted to throw this out there and see what everyone thinks.
This idea draws inspiration on how much fun it is to be an Orge rushing around killing everything in sight and still feeling like you are serving a purpose.
Imagine the chaos if half or more the players online were doing that.
(Yes I know we do that anyway, but focus is usually not solely on speed)
So the concept is simple it is a MUD wide killing race that any player can join in once they have the event item. The goal is to kill as much stuff as possible as fast as possible, duh
Then sacrifice the corpse to some as yet undecided cause.
The event item would be something like the pentacled silver ingot.
You can use it to <sacrifice corpse> or <sac> for short.
It will work on custom corpses, beheaded, pulped etc
But unfortunately can't work on things that leave no corpse?
Will leave behind left overs same as an ingot would.
The item will track
* Each players total sacrifices
* Sub totals for the players different races sac'ed
* Each players CPH Corpses Per Hour rate
(of active playtime, no count link dead)
There will be a visible leader board at the event starting place / npc.
Event will run until total sac's for all players reachs 1 million!
Which I reckon if a lot of ppl join in will be less than 2 weeks lol.
Rewards could be for overall totals and highest CPHs.
Could be divied by player size.
Most kills for different races.
Don't know what cool stuff could be rewards etc
Just thinking it would be a fun event.
If nothing else it would be fun to see how other guilds can stack up versus the well practiced ogres.
