I've offered this privately already, but it bears repeating. I wholeheartedly praise the roleplay structures being devised and subsequently upheld by both the Dagarim Aran and the Army of Angmar. Here is an example of two entities drastically opposed to one another who are taking joy in the glory of roleplay, daring to actually fight to kill, and yet setting up boundaries that strive to make the game livable and fun for those who do not wish to partake.

Beregond, Alorrana, Tarax, and others I do not yet know of ...

Makes you regret you didn't bring back AA sooner, doesn't it?

If time permitted it, I certainly would be out there pulping some znuggas myself.

I know you are teasing, so here is one back at you.
As I always said AA didn't ever have to be away.
An "Angmarim" Merc company could have achieved something almost identical.
Sure someone maybe called their company Angmar but no company I saw acted like the Army.
Doing something positive like that would have likely got the cause a lot further than all the moaning which was done instead.

That is what is fantastic about what the Dagarim Aran are doing.
They are not even relying on having any guild or to first have the wizards do something for them.
They have been able to set out their roleplay ideals and run with it bringing new allies together with enemies.

Some people are trying to change the old ways of chaos. The ways that made the army so great.

Trying to change it into a proper army. People asked for the return of the army for YEARS because they loved and missed the guild.

Changing it will take away that which made it so great.

Heh.. You and I will always go back to the same conversation it seems. We have both heard the points before so this is for the benefit of everyone else, Angmar today is not the Historical Angmar Appreciation Society where nothing can ever change and we must daily give praise how great the Army was in the past and remind ourselves it will never be as good again.
If any AA oldschool or new wants to influence what the Army is, they will have to wake up and play a part.
