Brave warriors of the realms!

Many of you have listened to poems that warmed your hearts.
Some of you probably asked questions about their heritage,
meaning and probably authors as well.
One of such poems would be this one:

All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not reached by the frost

From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring

The light across the lands is dim and gives more and more
shadows rather than warmth. There is however hope spread
by the tireless companies of fierce warriors. There is
the light of Elbereth to shine on our paths. There is true
grid among the ranks of fighters for the freedom of Middle
Earth.

Do not let shadows take away your hope. Fight among the
best and noble warriors of Middle Earth. Accompany us in
our neverending quest to protect the peace-loving citizens
of the Shire, Pelargir, Thornlin, Gondor, Pellenor and
many other places where people are not rotten by the East.

Join our ranks to fight for the freedom of the beautiful
Ithilien and be the first shield to protect it from the
Enemy - from Him and His increasing squad of servants.
Be one of us - be the shield of light and THE ultimate
obstacle to the forces of darkness and evil!

Those of you who feel true grid inside, who feel they
will not run away when facing His servants in battle,
who want to commit their lives to the light - visit
our hideout, study our library or just pen us a message
from the Bree Post Office.

May Elbereth shine on your chosen paths!

I like initiatives like this.

Hope you get some new blood into the Rangers - Middle Earth really deserves it.

By the way, maybe it's good to mention something about the outlaw list. At least in the past, you could barely set foot in Middle Earth without ending up on the outlaw list...or maybe it was just me?

normal outlaws are auto-removed from the list after some time if they don't commit new crimes against ME
notorious outlaws ... that's another topic

afaik a few normal outlaws have redeemed themselves within the recent months without real problems ... some of them returned onto the wrong path later, but still ... ;)

every outlaw (even notorious outlaws) can seek forgiveness either by contacting any of the active Rangers who will forward the issue to the officers or by using the "pen" command in the Bree PO

Nice scroll, Laurel. :)

My advice is to give all applicants a shot at joining the guild, regardless of their past.
