I do wonder though based on the imbuement list I have found on the internet and my own results from Karkadelt why some things are lacking while other seemingly useless things are in place.
I recall Gorboth stating not too long ago that only a small fraction of possible imbuements had dropped so far, which admittedly, might be Keeper for "we'll add more as we think of them". I thought it had been on the forums, but a quick search didn't yield the quote I expected. On the other hand, given your intro and Alorrana's response, I did note his
Statement of Philosophy (nothing about cows enjoying anything) and
Goals for imbuements. In short, I think this has been a great addition and the wizards deserve a lot of praise, which I am sure I'll deliver by Christmas. In the mean time, it might be interesting to discuss how well it's met the goals and suggest, possibly unnecessary tweaks.

I'd say this has been successful on its face, but what I have yet to experience is any strong combat advantage for the NPCs against me. For instance, I think I noticed the combat take a bit longer against healing and dark is noticeable, but routine. Maybe it's because of the low intensity drops I've gotten, but I was expecting the occasional several extra notches of excitement and danger. Perhaps NPCs should get more benefit from the lower-level imbuement effects?

I think this has worked, but slot machines have more blinky lights and a poster nearby showing the big winner. Perhaps there is room in the lore for some showy effects on wield, wear and their reverse? Also, as I understand it, a casino will usually have the odds tweaked on the slots so that there will be a big winner during the Grand Opening and then dial it back.

Another solid showing here, and I believe it may be we have a lot of effects yet to see, but where are the odd, mixed blessing and negative imbuements? Where is the imbuement that makes it difficult to unwield, the one that increases your hunger (and herb capacity), the one that increases damage to armours, the one that makes you look different or the ones that give a special attack?

Yes. Challenge accepted, although I haven't been particularly focused on imbuements to date.

Currently, I think I am slightly ahead.
