Rhynox, Thank you for the candid response.
Its true that if more items were being introduced then this would not be as big a problem. Its even evident from my own observations then and now how the situation has improved from 5 years ago with gigantic, mergula's and other swords arriving etc. But there is still more could be done, particularly on non-dulling ubers. So if the balance is still skewed why not remove the align restriction from the azure sword and Tom's sword, make a quick change to the holy blade to allow the hilt to create an un-holy blade etc.

That is what I am hoping will come out of these discussions.

There is also one other thing that jumps out of the thread at me.
Like how does a player know that there are 7 possible copies of the mithril spiked mace in the realms. Never mind the question of how does any player know how to get this obscenely obscure item in the first place..

Now I know that this sort of information could be observed and deduced by _dedicated_ players over time, but I also know that players hear it straight from the wizards. I have first hand feedback from a player regarding a conversation they had with a wizard telling them the limit on Midnight Black Platemails was being upped the next armageddon. There is a big unbalance between the people who have this insider knowledge and the people just out there plugging away hoping to get lucky. But hey that is another thread!

Also, drow weapons and armor (usually made of adamantite or another metal unique to the Underdark) slowly lose their magical properties if exposed to the sun. In Advanced Dungeons & Dragons second edition, adamantite disintegrates upon exposure to sunlight unless specifically treated.
I guess there are drow weapons out there, but unluckily those were not specifically treated and disintegrated :)

Please name non-dulling ubers.
I will give it a kick start - Kit's sabre.

I did. I assure you I am reading it very carefully from the beginning, including the original copy (not censored) of your post.
I asked because there is no other "uber" not-dulling weapon on your list.

Azure sword is pretty much amazing by anyone standards.
Tom's sword was fantastic and non dulling, not sure if it changed or not.
Think Elronds sword doesn't dull?
FBB as well is uber

And another post on the forum says blue tinted longsword is still available, I listed it as not available likely just my tactics in trying to get it were poor, doesn't dull and have to be holy.

There are other non dulling still, may not be uber uber but a lot of people love non-dulling things ahead of slightly better dullers.
Even holy blade is still commonly used after being nerfed.
Sting isn't commonly used but doesn't dull, better in the hands of certain races etc.
Don't think I listed sting as non dulling in my list before.
