Hello all,
The Genesis Community has an important opportunity to support one of our
contributors. Denis Loubet is the artist who we contracted with two years ago
to provide art and design components for our webpage and game client. Denis has
begun an enterprise with some of his other artist friends and colleagues (Jeff
Dee, for example) where roleplayers can order an original hand-drawn portrait
of their favorite character that they roleplay. I, for one, will be standing in
line (so to speak) as soon as the business is live to have Loubet himself draw
a portrait of that old dusty bonepile, Gorboth.
What we can all do right now to help Loubet is to go and <like> his
DrawMyCharacter page on Facebook. I encourage everyone to do this, not only to
help out a fantastically cool artist setting up a fantastically cool service,
but also because what goes around comes around, and this is a great way for us
to enhance our relationship with Denis. When all it takes is a few clicks to do
a good deed for a fellow gaming ally, a community like ours can make a big
difference very quickly.
So ... go forth and make those clicks! Like DrawMyCharacter on Facebook, and
then I'll bug Denis to tell me how many more likes he got since I posted this
here! *grin*
