Market Kiosk Quests
I was away when this feature was added.
I asked someone about it and they told me it was a small amount of general xp that was on offer if you completed the tasks.
Same sort of thing you get if you are herbing or smithing.
Is that correct?

Re: Market Kiosk Quests
I think it is a small amount of quest exp, that is why I do it...seems a bit silly to get general exp for it.

Create a newbie, do a couple, and check your brute Not sure what it gives (I remember Ilrahil assuring it was gxp), though, but if it is easy I usually do it for the sake of keeping me entertained. However, a few are too hard to do, and it looks like the list is not that random (I have never been asked to get ten potions, or ten horseshoes, etc).

Re: Market Kiosk Quests
Most definitely is actual quest xp. In fact, there is even an end point to the quest when the Market Quest will show up in the quest orb. Nobody's reached it yet though. When someone does, maybe we should give them some extra general xp for being first.
Re: Market Kiosk Quests
I designed the quest to be, over time, roughly the same size as the Zodiac or other large quests. It just takes a few years to complete it.

Re: Market Kiosk Quests
Great!! Would be sad if it ended too quickly.
It's a very good way to interact with others. Gives a chance to meet new people, find new friends, even. The only annoying part of it is the picky merchants. Somehow an oar isn't an oar to them

Man... now I'm crazy behind doing them. The race should start now!petros wrote:Most definitely is actual quest xp. Btw, if the merchant asks for a number of gloves, he means them in the singular which is difficult to discern from the pair since adding a number makes it plural lol.
Worst one I've received so far was "We are in need of three mauls." scuse me???
lol
Might as well ask for Hektor's decapitated head...
Which would really make things interesting... hmm.

Pretty sure I never said it was gxp, as I did them every week I remembered them because qxp no matter how small is still qxp in my book.
So, yea never said that.
