Why forge them?  I use hobbits as shields.
They are cheap and expendable.

I wonder if looking at the log in stats Wednesday was identified as the day where most people where logged in and that's why its then.
Its no problem for me to log in on a Wednesday but if it was I would be kinda bummed out.

Maybe it could also appear on Saturdays or Sundays whatever is more popular, still only 1 quest a week and it would also give you a few days to get the items in case you missed the Wednesday rush?

If I remember it right, Gorboth picked Wednesday because it was a low peak day....

I like your suggestion about adding a day but still keep it at one item a week. Some stuff is hard to get.
