Badges, bracelets, rings... One container to bind them all!

Post by Syrk » 04 Jan 2014 19:51

There is another new trinket coming - a bracelet for achievements....

As it is now, everyone who plays a bit has plenty of trinkets on him/herself.
Badges, bracelets, necklaces... former guilds and quests tokens, auction
paddles... all that scrap. Some are never used.
It is messy.

Maybe there could be one container for such tokens?
For example a necklace with gems, or a bracelet with many small pendants,
charms, tokens - and when needed such token could be unclasped from
the bracelet to be used/shown.

Something like the golden bracelet from krynn but saveable and
for special items only.

I believe that the record amount of auto-loading trinkets I achieved on a single character was somewhere over 20. I agree that it can get a little messy and cluttered :)

yeah when i wake up i got a robe, a sash, like 3 books, 2 pins, a bone flute, 2 brooches,1 medallion, bangles,1 ring, a circlet, riding crop, a scroll, a map, and a paddle. i also have the zodiac gem but that is swallowed most of the time.

that is 18/19 items and i do not have the golden scabbard, the torque, rich mans purse, i used to be a dancer with veil and bells, i managed to eat my egg paper (dont ask) and im missing a few other infamous quest items. if i got a few of those items id easily break the record.

i dearly love a lot of these items and i do look forward to getting things like the golden scabbard and i miss my egg paper would have been nice to be able to add it to one of my books.

i also of course carry a backpack, a saddlebag, a herbjar/pouch,mortar, a potion satchel, and a purse

but somethings actually will block armor if worn in the wrong order like some of the pins not to mention i sometimes feel like a T.G.I.Fridays waitress with my 10 or so pieces of bling. and it can be hard to see what i am actually carrying.

it would be nice to have a trinket bag to put some-all of the items in especially if we could still activate things like newbie helper pin. a place for my small mobile library alone will help. also a command that just includes all these misc items so we can wear/remove all trinkets or mementos

Go to the Cadu mayor and "restore me". It says so on a sight in his office. If the egg paper is the strength spell paper you get from the treasure quests in Cadu.

Can't break the record if you're not in Worshippers of the Elementals.

Example:

Code: Select all

You are a Famed Gardener of Gont.
Worn : a ... torque
Value : five sybarun coins, 14 gold coins, 27 copper coins, 13 silver
coins, 19 rose quartzes, four iridescent opals, 20 yellow beryls
          and 13 purple amethysts.
Clothes : an iron cuirasse, a small silver club, a newbie helper pin, a
goblin fang pendant, a silver serpentine ring, a silver star ring
          and a silver mermaid ring.
Other : a long crooked stick, a magic map, an annotation scroll, a new
leather book, a pair of ironwood rings with onyx gems, a golden
scabbard, an used storybook, a staff of Aeria, a nice
silver-ornamented purse (open), a black wooden paddle, a long
sceptre, a platinum earth pentacle, a copper fire wand, a silver
air dagger and a gold water chalice.
That's inventory after leaving several clubs, destroying the str paper etc. because it was too annoying... Now sitting at a mere 23 trinkets.

oh cool i've not been to cadu in a long time. and i call it egg paper because i find the name cute. but yeh it can be annoying. when casting str i ended up losing my easter event item a few times and had to get it restored.

and you can always do the elemental quest to get the 4 auto loading items without joining. that would push me over 20.... might be nice to have an auto loading weapon even if it is just a knife.

so yeah i'm thinking the real record is probably 30ish not 20

You can't wield it though.
