Death-By-Mage insurance

Post by Kiara » 14 Jan 2014 05:00

Code: Select all

Sooooo... remember the auction for mage victims? Well,
it has ended a little abruptly since I had to use my
remaining potions to bargain for my life. But I figured
it was a good deal as I learned some super important
information from INSIDE our enemies tower! I suggest you
check out the story from that very interesting event
if you havent already! I am sure you know where to find it!

The short version is I tricked my way into Minas Morgul,
got over-curious (is that possible???) when I wanted to
try out the mage throne in the throne room and instead
found myself strapped to a chair with Celephias to thank
for that!

Luckily I had those potions, and since I’ve already
gained all the knowledge I could from them, I decided to
use them to get myself out of there alive!

The information gained from the potions has been shared with
other mage hunters of course. I will however keep this
information from public boards for the time being,
but as mages most likely will continue to commit crimes
against us peaceful dount dwellers I am sure I will find
use for that information eventually. Mages can of course
decide to be nice and maybe keep those secrets too...

BUT! Before that little incident happened the auctions
gave the M.M.V.A. (Morgul mage victims association) a
total of 765 platinum coins!

Thanks everyone who bid on the auctions and congratulations
for winning to really unique items. (unique for living people
at least).

After a meeting with the M.M.V.A. spokespeople it has been
decided the FULL amount of these coins will stay in the fund
as an insurance for the NEXT mage victim, and there probably
will be one sooner rather than later!

SO! Let it be known that:

                       -===-

The next person who is MURDERED by a mage will upon
resurrection be awarded with 765 platinum coins as
   compensation.

                       -===-

(Note that no abuse will be tolared. Real mage victims
only. That means a mage attacks and kills you, or
that you attack a mage and die. However just killing
yourself on purpose in front of a mage without a serious
attempt at fighting them does not count).

Finally, there may be other mage related auctions in the
future, I will let you know when! The coins will always
go to the M.M.V.A.

I think we need to dissect more live kenderbrains for clues to their malfunction. Normally, when you bring out the red-glowing needles, the victims trembles and pleading for mercy. Kenders on the other hand, just get excited and drowns the executioner with a barrage of silly and irrelevant questions.

Are kenders the result of some failed lab experiment by some lunatic sorcerer?
Might and Glory flaming for changing dawn, ancient power revealed of an iron crown, clear and cold and shining so far and bright, crush the world in one clash of your binding light.

Gû kîbum kelkum-ishi, burzum-ishi. Akha - gûm-ishi ashi gurum!

Hah! I think you undeads are the result of that experiment. I mean who wants to stick red-glowing needles into people and dissect live brains???? Nobody sane for sure!

If kenders are the result of an experiment, it was definitely more successful than the experiment that resulted in the crazy and sadistic undeads. Maybe you were test subjects 1, and then that sorcerer got it right later when he created kenders? The world would surely be a much better place if we were all kenders!

Kender are a result of the Greygem, just like Dwarves. Gnomes are the original! Those gnomes who sought the greygem for its value became dwarves and those gnomes who thought it was simple marvelous and wonderous became Kenders. (Others were affected at this time too, but we are talking about Kenders specifically.) Oh, and any Dwarf will deny it, but its the truth!

I like the idea of a lunatic sorcerer though.
