It's just something I've always missed. Often I find myself in new client, and it would be nice to have some basic setup which is the same everywhere. I can't imagine aliases eating up much memory on the server.

I agree! That would be nice.

if you use the "official" client it will let you have more aliases and you can use them on any machine

but yes id like more as well. maybe let people "unlock" more aliases like they do more remembered names.
via stat, level, maybe some for each guild.
