Esteemed Genesis Community,
I am absolutely delighted to announce a changing of the guard, as it were,
here in the realms of Genesis. Cherek is now our Archwizard of Players, and
(astonishingly) I didn't even have to bribe him! For many years he has been
one of our game's chief enthusiasts, never flagging in his positive outlook
for the game, and good energy for the players and their concerns. That energy
is now being put to work in one of our most important roles - that of keeping
track of player needs, issues, and interactions, and stepping in to help
when things have gone off course either due to bugs, rule-breaking, or
confusion on the part of new players. He knows this game like the back of his
hand, too, so that right there is a huge improvement over that dull-witted
guy who used to try to do the job with his oh-so-impressive 1995 knowledge
of being a mortal. *scoff*
So everyone, here's three cheers for Cherek, our new AoP! He'll probably be
introducing himself in some way or another before long. And, as your outgoing
AoP, I'll go ahead and say it has been a fun 8 or so years! (has it? hmmm ...
okay, sure.)
I'll still be Keeper, and offering support to the rest of the wizard team
as I'm able, but AoP issues should now be mailed to the AoP Team, lead by
Cherek.
