Esteemed Denizens of the Donut,
Thank you all for making the 2014 Thanksgiving Event a great success! There
have been many statistics to consider when looking over the happenins of
this memorable two-week period. So, let's break it all down, by the numbers:
(also, I very much apologize for the extended delay of this result
announcement!)

CAREGIVING:
===========
A total of 93 turkeys were adopted by concerned citizens (YOU) and given
varying degrees of love. The top three ranked caregivers were as follows:
1st place: Nemi, with a health rating of ------- 2,401
2nd place: Bromen, with a health rating of ----- 2,386
3rd place: Lestharoth, with a health rating of - 2,305
These three hard-working caregivers will receive their due reward of
imbuement stones, well-deserved!
Shocking and dishonorable mention goes to Dread, Pharaxes, and Castaneda,
all of whom actually chose to <abandon> their turkey, devastating the poor
bird's health, and placing them as persona non grata in the turkey embassy
in Liwitch.

SAFARIS:
========
The turkey safaris were a huge success, with ten people finishing all
fifty-two treks, and Nemi being the first to brave the pits of Moria to
give his beloved bird a glimpse of the Balrog. Honorable mention here
goes to Snowrose, who was the only junior adventurer (in size) to make this
perilous journey. All ten people received large bonuses to their turkey's
health, but Nemi and Snowrose will receive special titles and quest
exp rewards for their feats.

BATTLES:
========
Performance in the turkey battles was wondrous to behold. Lestharoth
tops the rankings in terms of total wins, his bird having defeated an
impressive 28 other turkeys. Dubious mention goes to Nemi, who equalled
this number, but in the losses category!
Fourteen people were able to complete the twenty wins required to make the
top rankings. Joyce enjoyed the best win/loss ratio, with an impressive
16 - 9 season giving her a 64% record! Freya had the worst record, with
the 13 - 25 season score leading to a dismal 34%. Honorable mentions go
to Nemi, who completed the most turkey battles (fifty-two), and Windemere
who, while not completing 20 battles, had a perfect 8 - 0 season.
Lestharoth and Joyce will both get titles to commemorate these achievements,
as well as some additional quest experience.
A huge shout-out and mention of esteem goes to Habiki and Bromen, who decided
to use their turkeys as champions to determine the fate of a heated guild-
conflict which otherwise might have resulted in a drawn-out and bitter
affair. Kudos to them for such creative and honorable leadership!

DRINKING:
=========
The final 24 hours of the event was an all out booze-fest, with numerous
turkeys ending up so drunk they could barely function. Four caregivers stood
out among the revelers to claim the top three spots. Nemi again proved most
resourceful, finding 124 different drinks to serve her bird. Freya and
Bromen tied for second place, with 122. And Ilrahil claimed the third place
slot with 121. Honorable mention goes to Vngzyld, who was able to get
32 drinks into his bird despite being a newcomer to Genesis, and a very
young and inexperienced adventurer.
Nemi, Bromen, Freya, Ilrahil, and Vngzyld will all be awarded special titles
and additional quest experience for their hard work.

TURKEYSAURUS:
============
The day of wrath dawned at the end of the event, with the fearsome
Turkeysaurus descending on the farm to set up a lair in the barn. Various
large teams made attempts to slay the dreadful creature, but were utterly
thwarted. The largest, made up of nearly 15 players, many of whom were
large myths, managed to damage the bird, but gave up feeling they had not
the resources to continue for a meaningful enough duration to whittle him
down. The farmer, having seen all this before evidently, muttered numerous
times about it probably needing a twenty-plus sized raid group to make any
realistic attempt.
Prayer services have been held in the Sparkle church for Khyros, Keltar,
Snowrose, Rjak, and Trutblemma and Arshem (both twice!) all of whom fell
at the feet of the dread creature in feathery-ruin.
Eventually, the beast was felled, and a team comprised of numerous guilds
claimed the feathers, toes, and talons of the massive creature, which were
somewhat effective as light-weight one handed weapons. Rumour has it that
they were somewhat fragile, however. I guess in the end it will always be
the work of a trusty smith who can forge the most useful weapons.

Snowrose - title "Intrepid Safari Guide" for junior completion
Joyce - title "Seventh Degree Turkey Blackbelt" for best battle record
Freya - title "Bird Booze Buddy" for 2nd runner up drunken turkey tie
Ilrahil - title "Bird Boozer" for 3rd place drunken turkey
Titles will last for one year, are of course optional, and can be collected
along with qxp at the Events Office in Sparkle. Stones will be handed out
personally by me, at mutual convenience.
Thanks so much, everyone! This was a very fun and memorable event, and one
of the most social and cooperative in recent memory. It also resulted in the
single greatest spike for player logins in the history of the Genesis census!
