It worked quickly, before the boat departed.

Bah
Leave it. Its something fun. If it is that annoying to you, keep complaining like with breaking equipment. Someone will get tired of hearing about it and change it.
I remember back in the day contracting it and touching every warhorse I saw...

Re: Plague in solace
A game is built around annoying obstacles players have to overcome.
Sometimes it makes sense to tweak those obstacles to improve the game.
Removing obstacles tend to make the game more boring however...

Just dont have the fucker invisible then so we can actually take him out
Re: Plague in solace
I stand corrected. I shall visit Sybarus next time.
And oh, taking him out doesn't help. You'd still get infected. I don't know how Ody claims to avoid it, as you get it when you enter the same room as him, invisible or not. And yes, he wanders around, so no way of really avoiding the room all together either.
And no, Cotillion, Genesis does not become more boring if you remove the plague all together.

Avoid as in run to Sybarus the second you see him. I meant you can avoid the actual symptoms if you're fast enough.nils wrote:I stand corrected. I shall visit Sybarus next time.

Re: Plague in solace
Invisible? For someone that's played the game as long as you have I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this. He's not invisible you just apparently have a hard time paying attention.Draugor wrote:cotillion wrote:A game is built around annoying obstacles players have to overcome.

He is a cloaked lurking human, I have had that shit highlighted since forever. Sometimes, though, I get the plague while running the path between newports and dwarfcamp, and can't see him in my scrollbacks. I therefore conclude that he's sometimes invisible.Zestana wrote: Invisible? For someone that's played the game as long as you have I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this. Exactly
Re: Plague in solace
If you go from A > B > C, all 3 rooms are infected by plague, so... Nope! He is not invisible, he did passed by the room you travel though.
