Hello again,

As much as my note is ironical at its large part and aimed at so called
roleplayers justifying power with roleplay- which is an abasurd, I think the
idea is a good one and you didn't fully understand what I had on mind.

It is not about letting players pick one skill from this profession and one
from the another. You can pick your profession from already availble in the
very same way you get them in guilds. With the exception- they don't come from
guilds. Guild would finally be a place for group of people who want to roleplay
in a certain way- which is what roleplayers are telling us- not places where
group of people wants some skills and pretends they don't care about the
skills, but they love roleplay.
The argument about uniqueness for mentioned reasons I don't find a valid one.
Players would be given a chance to build their guilds with variety of
professions, pretty much the way they built teams. And the whole balance and
wizards favouring some players issue would come to the past. You think
profession A is overpowered? Go ahead and take it. Nothing stops you. In fact
this would assure they are pretty well balanced.

Finally. Even now- in guilds allowing different races you don't have all
players playing same one and have same layman. Some mercenaries prefer to play
gobbo with clubs and templar knights, other go for hobbit and blademaster, some
will pick gladiator and minstrel, while someone else prefers melitia or to be a
pirate. So this argument seems to me to be also untrue.

T.
