Quickest way to get sober
So I've decided to go on alcoholic rehab for green mean goblins today.
Needless to say this is not an easy quest in Genesis!
I've grabbed tons (100) of coffee from Sybarus bazaar, then waited till it gets colder.
Then I've drank 100 of them and... nothing.
I then went to Gelan's lavatory to... well... you know what.
I need to say, it takes a while for goblins to urinate in Genesis!
After 5 minutes straight (gobbos rule!) I didn't get any real result except for dude kicking me from the lavatory.
He said he never seen anyone urinating for 5 minutes straight!
Bottom line, I had to wait till I get sober gradually and very slowly.
So, is there any effective and quicker way?
P.S.
I suppose coffee just gives you faster intox regen and I still need to wait?

Re: Quickest way to get sober
I've found that when one gets the crap beaten out of them, they sober up a little more quickly.
I may be mistaken, though..

Think coffee helping stopped when headaches disappeared.
Dwarf king coffee was better than silly sybarus stuff

That's interesting. I don't know if there has ever been anything created in the game that sobers you up (maybe dying does?)
Of course, the game being founded by Swedes - this would be nearly a criminal offense even at the concept phase.

There is a way, but is this the place to tell it?

Would seem to me that with all of the new additions to herbs that one of gramma's old herbal remedies could work
Re: Quickest way to get sober
Not a bad idea, but in any case my rehab went all wrong. After sobering up and getting myself a new pretty runed toy to play with I got all excited and took a tiny little sip from the bottle.gorboth wrote:That's interesting. Needless to say I'm drunk again and the toy won't comply
Re: Quickest way to get sober
You expect way too much from a gobbo. I couldn't tell a difference between herb and kender. As far as it concerns me, both can be eaten!Etanukar wrote:Would seem to me that with all of the new additions to herbs that one of gramma's old herbal remedies could work

I'm with you, Mallor. For us Vikings, the thought of not-drinking ... I mean ...

Speaking of that, for fairness sake, there should be a weapon you can wield only when extremely obliviated!gorboth wrote:I'm with you, Mallor. For us Vikings, the thought of not-drinking ... I mean ...
