This was one boatride, invis thievery, make some sort of balancecheck to this shit, make them come out of invis when they fuckup or something, its just getting silly at this point. Make em go out of stealth just like attacking when they are caught even if its just rifling, treat it like an attack.

The attack thing was there then removed cus players using it to control npcs attacking them.

Invisibility and the limited counters.. yuck
hmm mask of despair, snow white sword and some guild vision spells, anything else? Maybe nightvision stone does?
Heard before than invis had levels like darkness does and mask wasn't strong enough to see older invis guilds.

Well invis could be like a predator cloak, if they standing still can't tell they there but movement and actions betray it, then if you attack them they are fighting and therefore moving and U can see them, all be it with a penalty based on your blind fighting or something.
If they leave they are moving. Cloak takes like 10 seconds of no movement to settle.
Would still have benefit of concealing persons identity like a ranger guild cloak etc does

The 0 second spam on peek.. yuck
1 second steal attempts.. yuck
Success after multiple spammed failures.. yuck
As soon as you notice pesky thief in the area you could be wary and on cooldown for more attempts like backstab.

But at least u can pack stuff and go thief proof mode.

Last time that happened to me, I stepped on the bug. *crunch*
Then a day or a few after I was assaulted by a myth spellcaster.

Agreed. Invis has nearly zero counters, this crap has to be fixed. Right now SoHM with their idiotic invis spell are invincible.

really the solution is simple:

1) do not carry unworn packs/qarrabas/jars/etc
2) always close your worn packs/qarrabas/jars/etc
3) keep all valuable items in your worn/closed packs/qarrabas/jars/etc
4) ...
5) you don't profit, but you don't lose either

Just don't let people double-dip, triple-dip etc their souls in the game.

More counters are needed, at current there is ONE item and a spell I believe.

Add herbs that see invis, rings, necklaces etc, you shouldnt have to rely on 5 spawns per arma for a damn mask that drains your brain for it, especially now that invisibility is so commonplace that its idiotic to not have counters, it took AGES to get some sort of defense against mages and magic, dont do the same shit for this -.-
