Hello all!
It is with much enthusiasm and joy that I can announce the return of one
of our most prolific and influential wizards - Petros, who has been given
(surprisingly, perhaps, since he is an elf) Stern's blessing to become the
new Archwizard of Events (AoE) in Genesis. Petros has much experience with
AoE work over the years, having designed and run numerous events in the past.
He is excited about it, and already cooking up some fascinating new ideas
which we might expect to see by the nearest holiday (hint: spoooooooky!)
This is not to mention, of course, that Petros spent many years as our AoB,
so he is not new to the wretched corridors of despair walked by the Admin of
Genesis. (and, this time he remember to bring his nose-plugs!)
Obviously, all of this comes as a result of our resident foodie, the most
Honourable Stern Urya-Yare, deciding that he can no longer subject himself
to the weekly Pun-Competitions of his Keeper (who, me?) and therefore will
shelter himself in retirement. Stern is the founder and originator of the
AoE position in Genesis, and has himself overseen countless mortal contests
to the delight (and/or despair?) of many. I will not seek to confirm or deny
rumours that a national holiday has been declared by the elves of the realm
at his decision to retire. But make no mistake, we will not see his like
again and will all pray that he chooses to lurk among us more often than in
his (all too) well-stocked pantry. Blessings upon you, Stern! May your mouth
ever be full of elf-treats!

Congrats! Looking forward to (Hopefully) lots more events than just the random holiday ones. Welcome back!

exciting! I don't think there have been any events since I first blundered into Sparkle, and I'm stoked to see what the fuss is all about!

What? How? Did AA start dealing damage while I was sleeping?

Pfff! I have only died once on Wizday. It involved a Rainbow Wall, a team lead by Kithkanan, and a very inept Vampire.

Maybe we could have another goblin raid on Sparkle?

Those were events that perpetuated stories of new content when the Orc Temple opened and imbuements were introduced.
Not sure if I plan to run more of those. They were (frankly) a bit bone-headed. Just a billion lines of combat spam!

They did yield some OK equipment though.
Perhaps you could add those as random loot and make some bigger orc NPC bosses around sparkle that has the possibility of having them?
