Some mino-monk entered location on TT where I was fighting and started combat like nothing happened (didn't try to exit etc.). So I started to do the stuff a person in shitty guild can do to retaliate (assisting him on other location, blocking exits, , posting on forum - couldn't even borrow anything - due to monks high awareness). Then he came back!

Two comments from me:

1 - It's totally normal that real life situations happens while ur script is running. But in such cases expected reaction should be like: "sorry mate, something in RL" instead of some aggressive emo-like attempts to put the blame on the other person (like I pushed ur daughter from these stairs or something lol).

2 - You devoted whole 4 mins of ur game-time to ur daughter that fell down the stairs. Well fokin done.

How sad for the toddler and embarassing for the parent. Perhaps he should invest in a self closing child safety gate.

When something awful does happen and the script isn't robust enough, I do recommend a response with more dignity. Perhaps something along the lines of I apologize for my autonomous actions - I am accustomed to engaging these trolls in combat with nary a thought. I suppose you could just add that statement into your script for every room, then if anyone is present you're covered?

Perhaps he was still so upset he was full of adrenaline? Therefor acted like this? Dont know, just try to stand up for my brother who normally is a very sweet guy.
And yes things like that can happen if you dont have a script coded that well that you leave a room when someone is in it fighting.
Ofcourse kids matter first. Apology would have been nice in this case afterwards though

As nice and morally superior as that sounds, it's not feasible. There are a few who do everything entirely manually, or so they say, but unless you want to spend 20 years (the amount of time they probably spent doing it) growing to their size, some sort of basic scripting is necessary.

It depends on what you define as a script.
I play the game with the game client.
I use some VERY ugly triggers and aliases.
That is all I need and it works fine for me.

It is very annoying to fight and see someone enter, start killing without a word, and when the room is dead, leave to next room again with no word.
I heard someone call this behaviour for 'Irking'.
I think it actually is illigal to some degree, but I leave that for the admin, both to take care of and to define.
If it is needed to play the game that way? A HUGE NO.
