Re: RR Warping
I think saying stuff like "Just use weapons that dull" ignores just how strong non-dulling weapons really are. If the choice in your rack is between something that dulls and something that doesn't wouldn't you always go for a non-duller? Especially now that equipment only saves for 4/90. The _only_ way you're using a weapon for 4 combat days is if it doesn't dull. 4 days of grinding where you hardly have to stop at a smith (never if you don't tank). 4 days of not having to think about or fuss with your weapon. Sure. People are capable of grabbing a great sword that dulls, but you're ignoring the huge benefits of non-dulling.
There's also the fact that non-dullers are strong weapons too. SoH, FBB, Rusty Dagger, Rust Reds. In fact rust reds get to double dip on that 4/90 timer meaning you get two top tier weapons for the price of one. So why in the world would I opt to use shin' tor if I have a FBB sitting in my backpack? I wouldn't, you wouldn't, a non-duller is (generally) a downgrade.
Now what if you wanted to imbue your weapons with some cool effect? Why would I waste a stone that took me forever to gather on something that would only last one and a half combat days? You probably wouldn't. Again, you'd opt for the non-duller which is already strong as a weapon, will never need to be babysat, and will get you the full benefit of your stone. There's a reason why when gear was perma-saving with no degradation every goodie grabbed an azure and imbued it.
With all equipment on the 4/90 timer, I don't see many advantages of using a weapon that dulls and breaks outside pvp where you don't need your weapon to last many many many fights. Teleporting was too strong because it eliminated downtime, but equipment that eliminates your need to run to a smith? "Just use non-dullers, they're just as good." Maybe we need fewer non-dulling weapons, not more.
