The afternoon sun shines brightly upon the land. A cool wind blows through the
air, reminding you that winter is not far away. You stand on a vague forest
trail. A few large footprints have been made in the soft forest floor. The
trail continues to the south and west.
There are two obvious exits: south and west.
A flawless onyx ring and a small oak tree.
> south
A dark room.
> Someone opens the qarraba.
Someone gets a bright yellow leaf from his something.
Someone closes the qarraba.
Someone chews a bright yellow leaf.
Someone opens the qarraba.
Someone puts a bright yellow leaf into his something.
Someone closes the qarraba.

small troll encampment. The trees and bushes has been removed from this area,
revealing the soft dirt. A large fire in the center of the camp, and over it a
large cauldron has been set up. The encampment continues in almost every
direction, however going northward would take you out of it, and into the
forest again.
There are eight obvious exits: north, south, east, west, southwest, southeast,
northwest and northeast.
A pale yellow cloud.

You are physically feeling very well and mentally in full vigour.
The haughty brown horse is feeling very well.
> Someone hisses dangerously.
peer
You peer quizzically around.

A dark room.
> Someone hisses: You DARE steal my claim, orc!
ospeak I did ?
You utter in the black tongue: I did ?
> Someone sheathes his flaming basket-hilt falchion.
> Someone draws power from the realm of shadows.
Someone looks at you with burning eyes, trying to control your will.
Someone raises his hand, menacing at you, and commands: Libo makil!
You fail to understand the words, but you are striken dumb.
You feel your tongue cleave to your mouth, and your heart labouring.
Your mithril crescent-moon axe is left damaged and heavily corroded by
someone's spell.
Filled with grief and blinded by the anger you rush toward someone.
The mithril crescent-moon axe breaks!!!
'shrug
You drunkenly snarl: shrug
> i
It is too dark to see.
> Someone lightly bruises your left arm with his left foot.
Someone hisses to you: Lie not to the Lord of the Nine.
You are now hunting someone.
The haughty brown horse throws back her head and whinnies loudly.

You went to gather loot on mithas? Isn't that like the worst place possible?

And when do you wizzes do something about those stat-clouds?

Xp should be given, based on the size of an npc, at the time it dies.. So if its been clouded, xp shouldn't be anywhere near as high.

Looting the spoils of Saurons second in command, and you expect no forms of retaliation for doing so? The death incarnate left you with a broken toy, be happy.

And crawling to the wizards begging for nerfs all the time...pathetic.
Might and Glory flaming for changing dawn, ancient power revealed of an iron crown, clear and cold and shining so far and bright, crush the world in one clash of your binding light.

Errrr dude - what could he have looted on Mithas ...? a gem that was on the floor?
The size difference between those two, the power difference between those two and the possibilitites the MM had in this situation SHOULD have gone towards "Give back to the Nazgul what you took from it, fool! Else you will ssssssuffer HIS wrath." etc. etc. ... instead the MM just used one of his wide array of annoying tools right away ...

Sounds like Saya, Freya and a few others tbh - "I got some excuse - I am free to bully ppl around for that!"

I actually found many gems left on the ground there. sometimes people just dont grab em.. so i used to check there aswell when playing Alor. 10 good gems are good money if you have none. :)

Greed is Eternal !!
I’m not a complete idiot. Some pieces are missing.

Personally I think this "I am gonna leave the game" threats are getting kind of lame. I have a feeling writing such a note on the public Sparkle board most likely get people to leave more than the MMs do. Havent MMs always behaved in similar ways? Thats their whole deal isnt it? Whats new about this incident?

Sure, I too think its a bit silly to break someone's weapons for no reason. The log doesnt show Tar doing anything, but it doesnt tell of anything that happened before. Maybe he was picking up gems? Either way I think it would be a little boring if there where no MMs around to scare people. And he didnt even try to kill you, even sheathed his sword. Maybe he didnt have a reason, or maybe he did, but people have been stolen from or killed for nothing in all times. Its nothing new. Thats what can happen in our game. Anything can happen. Always have, always will and is a great part of the charm if you ask me. Anyway I think if such a tiny incident as someone breaking your axe makes you leave the game, then I suppose you really didnt wanna play in the first place?

If you dont like the game dont play. Or if you want something changed, work for it. But complaining on how other people play and leaving when they dont act like you want is pretty silly in my opinion. It's too much of that already, people not daring to attack others afraid they will leave the game if they die etc. I say credit to the mage for doing some RP and scaring someone. If we lost a player, that's too, but we cant go around worrying people will leave and not play as we want to because of it. Being friendly and welcoming newbies, helping them, etc is great, but if everyone is friendly and cuddly people will get bored eventually. We need the scary, evil ones too.
