Bromen: Very true. Isengaard is really cool, and the quest(s) there are pretty cool too I think. But not many go somewhere to admire the code. Khalakhor is the best example of this of course, nicely done, well-coded quests, but nothing to do there and the quests have meaningsless rewards, so it doesnt matter how well done it is sadly.

But Moria has a few "bosses" with nice loot.

Gamemechanics/gameplay before eyecandy. A grinder without xp, loot or/and bosses can be compared to an questarea without quests, an inferior guild of a specific type that there is already a better option for with the same criteria, or a difficult boss/encounter that have zero drop/rewards.

Pointless/waste of time to create.

If the primary function/intention is neutered, it can never be compensated with fine descriptions/eycandy alone.
