Absolutely love the books about the city watch.
But have to admit.. Monstrous Regiment was up there with them

Haven't ready any Discworld.
Haven't read any books in too long.
Should get back into it.
Have some Robin Hobb and Steven Erikson still to read.
Really enjoyed their other books. Excellent epic fantasy.

Fascinating read so far. I'm not sure I accept the author's thesis that Washington's humility was a facade, but the examination of his political maneuvering has been very interesting and far more in-depth than anything I was taught in school.
Not to make myself sound too cerebral. Prior to this I read a completely trashy vampire book.
Horribly written garbage but I have to confess I enjoyed it.

I discovered this series while in Atlanta, not bad for "candy" reading:

And this series is pretty good but there hasn't been a new one for a while. Recommendations on good mysteries would be welcome!
