Well.. if the game is generally flawed, then new people won't stick around.
But its an ancient dilemma. Nothing we haven't discussed before.

You are right as usual Makfly and I recognise the issue in the bigger picture.
It is just that of late the Knights seem to be suffering a bit more than others.
I think opening up the squires level as free to join could be an interesting project.
It might kick some life into things to have the experienced Knights log on and find new squires running around falling over their swords and then having to whip them into line.
Its a delicate balance, if they awake to find an unknown newcomer has claimed himself lord of the crown or whatever in their absence then it might piss them off more.
But DA's did the same thing long ago now, it was Louie's decision against the wishes of most of the active members.
But it seems like in the longrun it has been much better for the guild. Because the leaders had the power to reward/punish/expel lower ranking members.
It is not perfect of course but have fits and spurts of high activity where a new leadership shapes the guild into a new mold.
In terms of further buffs etc well that really ends up being something the Knights themselves need to canvas for.
They need to be active first to warrant someone putting the effort in.
But when a potential enemy is recognising they could do with some tweaks to help them get some of their x-factor back it is probably more encouraging than when people are crying out for them to be nerfed.

Personally I have seen more, although long before I became a knight myself.
I remember seeing one written by Morpheus, I think it was.
But before this one, I believe it was at least 6+ years since the one before it.

Hi
I have second in Knights and I would love to play him. But too lazy to quest him again.
So I will come back when Quest exp will be shared between seconds.

Not that I agree with you, but why just argue the quest xp, why not share all xp?

So that there is somewhat of a challenge to bring your second up instead of an instant leveled character.

That argument would seem to apply to quest xp as well.

So, I make a second and that second has all my qxp, a veteran maybe on just quests. I join a guild and in a week I have more guild xp then anyone else. Does that sound fair?
And where is the challenge to grind someone with all that qxp? I'm sorry, I think that idea is terrible.
