At least this is what you were led to believe.

Hahaha - Fair point. I await the rebuttal (as you fondle your ill-gotten stones and coins ;-))

Nothing wrong with necromancy really.

I mean if you use it to create an army of skeleton peasants to provide food for the poor... well thats its great! If you use it to create an army of undead to conquer the world and kill babies, then it's bad.

Necromancy just got a bad reputation since people like Celephias used it for... well I dont know what exactly yet, but my research has proved that whatever you do it definitely seems to be more towards conquering the world and kill babies, than providing food for the poor.

I am sure this Ebenhazer guy has honourable intentions, and Celephias will probably feel pretty stupid when he realises he helped feed the poor, or something else nice.

I am sure Celephias uses his undead minions to do the dishes and cleaning the tower. Maybe he has them doing theater plays for him when he is bored or singing lullaby when he has problem sleeping. I can just see it, a choir of zombies trying to sing soothingly.

btw Kiara, I think that people deserves some rest when they die and not having to be someones slave.

Sadly, Celephias can't just snap his fingers and get the zombies to line up and sing. He has to get them drunk first. It really is a shameful display.

Can you really tell the difference between a drunken and a sober zombie?

Sure you can. The moaning becomes more jubilant and less "woe is me, I'm a zombie singing for the Nine".

The parchment was a note from this Ebenestus character. He had written to
Stern to let him know that he was very satisfied with the number of helpers
he has had, and given that he has not been shown any new races for the last
half-week or so, he has begun the process to conclude his affairs.
There seem to be a few groups of eventers.

The fast-starters who were awake and were free when the event started,
and could concentrate on getting as fast and as many necrobits as possible.
They will be awarded for being first to deliver.

The mass-gatherers who might not start at the very beginning but decided
to do the event fulltime, waste no time and gather all necrobits.
They will be awarded for delivering the greatest numbers.

Casual-eventers who expecting the event to last for weeks were
not in much hurry and gathered the bits from time to time while
enjoying other aspects of the realms.
Now the leisure is no more and in frantic hurry they try to catch
up at least some and get even numbers for quest experience
awards (coins and stones are mere trinkets).

That Ebenestus pal seems not to care about the last group.
Probably he has the right, probably he will want other kind
of guys to join the guild he is going to set up when concluded
his experiments with gathered bits but it makes him
a shabby character.

I am only collecting necroballoons from people who signed a contract to donate their undead body parts for charity work when dying. Are you collecting just anyone's parts no matter if they agreed or not? I hope not!

Fortunately for that last group, unlike any event in Genesis history, this one awards you as you go, during the event itself, rather than limiting awards just to the top performers. I suppose there will always be those who choose to feel negatively about an event, no matter what might befall. As for whether or not Ebenestus is a shabby character, I suppose time will tell.
