i know half-elf fighter.
you can play ogre intelectualist, but is it wise decision? i doubt it.
In Tolkien's books elves were excellent fighters, but they arent in the Genesis.

In ff11 we had some strict race stats like a taru taru made greater caster but their stats sucked fir mele tanking but I saw great melee and great tanks who was said race, and did well.

Some people prefer the challenges the race weaknesses give.

Slight exaggeration there?:) You can obviously be an elf and a decent fighter. Especially if your layman guild uses spells that require some int and wis.

I think there was only one elf in the history of Genesis whose name struck fear in the hearts of his enemies... Who knows, maybe you can be the second elf.

Hektor isn't very scary to be honest.

I'm more cute then scary also.

I've not had any issue killing stuff either.
