tanking is somewhat different to executing any specials or doing "white hits" at all, or? and that's the point of this - afaik specials were recoded to be not usable while casting and vice versa
still - concentration might be broken when taking hits and no spell will be cast - that's been like that since I can remember (killing Mauhur as smallfry BDA for his BP - runie+JBS for more hits)
