Maybe someday it will be useful again.
With no changes it is useless, max 1 imbue on non-breakable weapon.

I believe reducing the drop rate was contraproductive. I would rather have focused on limit the effect/number of imbued items than nerfing availability. It did provide something to the game and added some excitement to boring parts of it.

Maybe this can be reconsidered when we evaluate the effects.

Counterproductive.
Yeah.

Well.
So was completely ruining imbues.
Sure nerf them.
No worries.
Now making the farming of them useless.
Good going.

Discussion of the results of the changes continues among wizards. We've noticed that some players who have changed their habits have been finding much more imbues that those who refused to change their habits. I do not feel we have let the change live long enough to know whether it is a good system or not yet. All we know for sure so far is that many, if not all, players liked the old system better. This unified opinion on the part of players does not speak to objective quality of a change, but instead speaks to people not wanting change that makes their habitual style of play less rewarding than it used to be.

I do not think I quite count into this category, since I mostly do what I used to do before, but I have commited some time to go to the areas I didn't go previously in search for imbues, killing children, women and other small citizens.. Yes, with some effort I have managed to find some imbues. I also have some little stock of stones gathered before the change. But there are no items I would like to imbue, since everything dulls.

This is simply not worth the effort and I am sure every player, who had fun with imbues before, thinks more or less the same.

I dont mind as much the droprate being reduced.
What I mind is that you make imbuing totally worthless by having no "safe" spots to actually imbue.
Makes it completely useless.
Who wants to save up for half a year, then having it all pissed away by having bad luck within 10 minutes of imbuement?

and edit.
Neither do I mind imbues being nerfed.
They needed to be nerfed.

After last changes items should not break on "prime" nor on "little worn down", so it won't be few minutes, perhaps a few days. But it is still not worth the effort.

Oh and I cannot catch the idea, that going to these "non typical" areas (probably scripting them in the future, to make it at least a bit more effective) should be in long term more fun than getting some imbues drop from approtiate to my size killing grounds.

Imbues are dead. Dead like a dumb tree. Droprate is horribly low. Placement is even more horrible I guess. Rings etc. breaking simply finished it off. Face it?
Forcing us to change our habits...? Wandering around whole day to find something useful once per a few days maybe, only to finally collect something useful after many months, to work for like 5-7 days...? No, this is so wrong.
And where are those lucky collectors who might benefit from change? Not wearing them (it's nonsense now), not even selling them (AH is almost dead). Placing them in lapidarium waiting for better times? Probably... Is this really what you wanted?
Those few who clapped first simply changed their mind after experiencing it got screwed or just don't have any imbues - like they never had before.
Ydred wrote:For imbues all that needed to be done was reduce faint pronouced and intense stat imbues
Amen to that. How many more players shall agree until you finally admit it needs fixing...

Eventually you could have limited that instant script-buying them from AH somehow.
But I guess noone cares now since it's all dead anyway.
Even prime gear not breaking change and truly awesome Yikes! discussion won't cover it.
