Re: Who List
I'm wrong, or enyone can turn that feature off, by 'options showunmet off'? So, your name will not appear in who list and you will not see other ppls names
Re: Who List
Sure it turns the list back to the old one, but your name still sits on the new list for everyone to see.Davvol wrote:I'm wrong, or enyone can turn that feature off, by 'options showunmet off'? So, your name will not appear in who list and you will not see other ppls names
Re: Who List
If yer keeping the who list like it is now, make it only visible to newbies and they should only be able to see newbiehelpers that are wearing theire pin, full title and all, if the newbiehelper one days wishes to be online without people other than those with the intro knowing, he just removes the pin and is no longer visable on the who for everyone
We have alot of newbie helpers as it is so they would see alot of people anyways that can help

Re: Who List
I suppose it also removes your name from list.Greneth wrote: Sure it turns the list back to the old one, but your name still sits on the new list for everyone to see.
Re: Who List
No it does not remove your name from the list. Hence why I doubt anyone has options show unmet on because there is no reason to do so. You can only see the people in your remember list but they can still see you.

Why would you ask a question then take the answer given and correct it with what you suppose it might be?
Re: Who List
would the new who-list be reason for no new members within RMC?Ilrahil wrote:No it does not remove your name from the list. Hence why I doubt anyone has options show unmet on because there is no reason to do so. You can only see the people in your remember list but they can still see you.

Re: Who List
Its also the reason you can narrow down whose who when you run into them thus allowing anyone with scry spells to target you if you dont have a torque. Why its pointless to not intro to anyone you run into, why everyone knows where not to be when someones awake, when to go hunt or stay in your guild hall, where you can eq hunt since you know where that person frequents, why you dont need to use any of the guild, racial, layman or club wholists.Laurel wrote:would the new who-list be reason for no new members within RMC?Ilrahil wrote:No it does not remove your name from the list. Re: Who List
I had that happen with a second. I was fighting Neraka trolls with a Templar and Diri got nosy. There were 3 people on the who list above my name, and about 10 minutes after she had inquired to the templar who he was with (the templar told her I wished to remain anonymous.) I was scried.
cadet graduate list, RC list, things like that are now useless items.
Much the same with the torque. If I knew someone's torque description I could tell if they were online.
