a lot of things can put people behind. Net outages. restarts
other people griefing you. overly complex scripts failing
This entire event its a big what will people do with a relitivly simple concept.

I imaging it would be great for gorboths statistics as well
as this will be moderatly good for calculating how many people actually still play
genesis or at least monitor common board compared to how many just log in
once or twice a year.

id ask what imbues people are planning on chooseing if they win but
I don't want to hijack the thread turning it into an imbue thread.

so what have you guys been doing with the event? Ive been chit chatting
with people that i don't normally see on. :)

It would be really nice if we were able to care for it, also when herbing.

You can just have to change the triggers a bit and it will be slower.

Indeed! As we ended today, the first of the event, we nearly matched the highest APH in recorded history, which was 28. Today, we reached 27.41, the 2nd best of all time. As a good illustration here is a graph comparing logins per hour on the first day of the event against the day prior.

Code: Select all

                     Comparisons between two time periods:
                                Nov 26 2014 = O

Most impressive. I do think it feels good to see such a highly populated who-list, even if we know some people are just tucked in some corner stroking their turkey.

and thats probibly going to go up as there are 48 players on now and 44 were on earlier... of course id imaging a good numble of them are afk...

Its kinda hard to be stealthy when youe peting a turkey constantly.

I gotta say the messages make me laugh when someone is being serious and you see... "* strokes his turkey lovingly."

It makes me laugh too ... especially when it is, like, some giant Ogre or something and they are just hiding in some little corner somewhere.

Oh, and I'm considering expanding the topcheck command. Currently, it only shows the top ten places. As I type, there are people reaching up all the way to 38th place, and I suppose some people would like a way to check their score.

As such, it is possible to <topcheck [name]> at the Turkey farm to see your own score or the score of anyone you would like to see. If I don't expand the list, at least there will be that.
