Not sure if it is linked to this, but I am not one to be opening new threads everywhere. So, I am going to start playing tonight, kick the racks and nothing falls. Eh? Kick the chest and nothing falls. Uh... Somehow the hundreds or so items we have in our racks all glow. Every single piece. Is this intended?

I wondered if it was an April fools... More of a present than a joke 
Well thats if you / your guild had luck with equipment last arma.
As Rhynox said. Everything that saved through arma saved again.
Every item gathered in the first day or so after arma also was saving.
It is nfixed now and non saving stuff is popping, makes me sorry for abusing saving gear early on...
Kinda spoiled us there for a while, imagining a paradise where everything saved.
It sort of suks that you may have a great peice of gear in your racks that saves.
The sucky part being you have to stop yourself from using it now for it to be enjoyed later.
The current equip system works, the caps and saving makes equip gathering "interesting" gives
many of us something to spend a large proportion of our time on...
Moving it forward is welcome, the current tweaks will rock. But its probably getting as far
as we can take it without a major rethink..
I am udecided if no cap, always saving gear etc would be more fun or not.
It was actually funny that I was on for this last arma waiting for the count down. Something
I actually hadn't done in a long time. I was pumped for the after armageddon rush...
Which was a total anti climax, because in the main part it is sort of pointless.
The best gear where the npc has alternatives was not popping.
Sick but it might be most beneficial to go for something like a key straight after arma.
Because then you could control access to the area for some time and get repeat
chance at an item in that area spawninggggggggggggggg
