Amberlee is right, used to get 3-4 scale-plateds back in the day when RDA and BDA held all areas. Was super handy. And I saw one wearing one the other day.

Used to find quite a few solamnian scalemails on the niggets. As well as a good amount of deadly footman spears, ancient claymores and three headed iron flails.
All this gear is not super fantastic so I don't see any problem with it being more common.
Adding a few rare items in the excellent bracket would also be cool.
Plate armour of solamnus / deep blue full plate anyone?
Jewel Encrusted sabre (Knights hands since only knights get to use it) and Jet black war sword (BDA), Serrated Obsidian Halberd (RDA), Crystal Axe (Neidars)

Must be my luck, then. I used to kill hundreds of auraks there weekly and never got single piece of armour.
