Its abusable though... I thought the safety of commons rooms was removed so that you couldnt run there and be safe? If we make meditate safe then you can always run and escape or idle in the tutorial world.
I like the general idea though, except that it requires coding... and could perhaps wait until more urgent stuff is fixed? Just allowing us to log in with another char in the newbie land would be an solution that would work for now until something like this can be created.
Why the newbie land doesn't work

Yes, this is a good idea, and I'd like to pursue it. However, there are a number of other things that are first in line.

Re: Why the newbie land doesn't work
It shouldn't be different from what it is now.
You are only safe in a common room, if you go there while not fighting anyone. Since you cannot initiate combat in the room.
Thats how I have understood it, at least.
So, if you are fighting someone, and choose to go to a common room and go to tutori isle.. well.. then you're putting yourself in danger, at your own choice.
I think thats fine.
But if you're not fighting anyone, when entering the common room.. then you're perfectly safe, just as you are now.

Creed: Oh, I didnt know that was how it works. I thought all rooms were "unsafe" no matter what. Well guess that works then!
