10 skill levels defence/parry reduction is not insignificant when you compare to other weapons with no such drawbacks.

Not everyone hides behind a skirt, Draugor.
About the hoarding, which is the issue in this post, mostly done by recycling. Easy to fix, really.... may_not_recover(1);

Draugor: Of the times I've used the sword, a great majority of the time I've been solo. So no, you are wrong. It does matter. And I'm sure alot of other players can attest to this scenario, as I often encounter people running with the sword solo.
You seem to have some underlying issues here.

Naa, my main problem is that its to damn easy to get compared to the immense pain it deals

There are even more severe drawbacks not noted here
The sword does deliver some pretty epic blows, but that's not all that matters in a fight...

FBB, main difference is that it doesent dull
But FBB is slightly harder to get

I'm going to test a new forumula for limiting items after the next armageddon.
Items will be more spread out over time and it will no longer be possible to recycle items at all.
We'll see how it plays out.
