Back to topic.
DAs sure needs more on team work. AFAIR, BDA was always focused more on damage and RDA on tanking. So, make it work together. BDA, can mb, or better push forward (we are evil muahaha) RDA member. On AA, what is also fighter evil guild, there shlould be cooperation with MM, like MM able to send AA in front of them to take hits.
I'm not considering other OOC guilds, like SU or Army of Darkness as evil, no. And again, in ME domain we have Valars and Rangers also. So, to be honest, goodie guilds are as follow
Krynn:
Neidars, Knights, SS
ME
Rangers, Valars, Militia
Evils:
Krynn
RDA,BDA, KoT, PoT
ME
MM, AA
Not domain specific, or small domians
Goodies
Calia, Elementals OOC
Evil
SU, Necros
So, looks like all diference is made by out_of_roleplay guilds, likse Calia and SU.
RDA, having SU "in back pack" can do the same, Knight having Calian. But how mane members of SU are active? We have 20-30 players around. 2-3 BDA or RDA, 2 Neidars, 1-2 calian, 2 elemental OCC, 1-2 AA, 1-2 MM, 1 ranger and like 5 mercenaries.
I think, mercenaries MUST be closed. And Gladiators aswell. No neitrality, only good or evil. DO - under the question. Old Monks was so nice and so long with us. But i consider neitral guild free to join is not right thing for the game. Player should choose.

What is KoT?
Closing mercs? I think they provide the ability to NOT be part of any guildwise conflict and just "be yourself", or RP your layman guild.
Closing them would imho be terrible. I get you want to fill the other guilds instead, but we have to provide something for those who want to stay out of things. Mercs are great I think.

I disagree with guilds who already can kill getting the ability to move behind or push forward. Calians have been granted the team-perks because we truly cannot kill alone. I can only use my layman special for damage and we all knowhow great layman specials are. I did not read every post because I lack the interest to do so however I did see that others wanted evils to have team-perks as well so that they would be more inclined to team. No one is preventing you from teaming. Go team. You already have the ability to kill so being granted even more prowess when in a team to me doesnt seem balanced. I have never been one concerned with balance. If you don't like that x guild can kill faster than your y guild then leave y guild and join x guild and quit complaining.
People are too big these days. There used to be a perk for all when teaming because the 'prime' xp grounds once upon a time were too difficult to go about with 1 or 2 players. Now if you team up with 3 myths you actually lose xp because it is split up and one person could do the same job as all three. It is not anyone's fault that characters are too big these days but adding team-perks to guilds who can already solo is not the way to go.
In my opinion more danger in the game is the way to go. We need to have some level of fear when we leave our guild. Some apprehension. Sure it is nice to go out and grab your prime gear and go ground your nuts off. But you cannot tell me you were not ecstatic the first time you managed to get your favorite weapon on your own. When the fight was tough and took you down to in a very bad shape, terribly hurt, BARELY ALIVE, or even DEATHS DOOR
We need that level of question back. Am I going to survive this battle? Or I might have to retreat heal up and try again. Sure we have some of those npcs still but we need more. In my opinion MOST should be this way especially as the majority of the population is Titan or higher.

Now, back to mercs. We always had Glads for that. Wonna be lonewolf - gladiators are for you. So, either close glads or mercs. Glads is kinde legend in Gen, you can't close it.

I never experienced any problems beating NPCs up solo when I was a Calian, Loran bit the dust more than once due to Riposte beeing a thing of evil, combined with Battack it was really easy to crush NPCs such as Loran and NPCs of that size when I was a TItan/CHamp

Try using swords, riposte is complete evil with swords

KoT stands for Knights of Takhisis I believe not Keepers of Telberin.
