About food. The orcs serve both drinks and food now which is nice.

But an alternative to their mold soup with perhaps be a good idea. Sparkle do need a nice inn... and a smith, and a town crier, and a newspaper booth, and a casino, and the pole dancing club... and a bunch of fun things so it truly becomes the place to "hang" in.

That having said, not everything should be relocated to Sparkle. Other places should still have their specialties too. Or we can just only have Sparkle and that would be boring. I'd rather see some more unique things to make people stick around in Sparkle, instead of copying/relocating things found in other places.

Like the enchanter. Or a casino.. I'd really like a casino... maybe I whould wiz and code it... :)

Yeah I know there is a casino in Cadu but it only provides two games in one room, and the rules are pretty shady so the odds favour the house VERY heavily. The casino would also be in charge for that Genesis lottery of course, sponsored by the gnomes of Genesis!

Agreed we shouldn't copy and paste things and that other places should have things unique to them however,

If we are going to force travel through Sparkle to get to other domains, Sparkle needs to have everything in some sense. Smiths like Bubba and Sanction should be top armour crafters, but perhaps put a smithy in where if your armour is at little worn down you can repair it there. If it is anything below you have to travel to a better smith for it.

My point as I said above is that if we FORCE people to go through Sparkle as the Hub, sparkle needs a taste of everything, not just ships and a few things unique.

Ilrahil: I agree.

And it has some of those things, the wednesday market, the quest orbs (allthough I would prefer you being able to take one with you when questing), and now the enhancer.

The idea of a somewhat less skilled smith is a good one I think. Maybe its some type of smith apprentice or new young smith who is setting up business. Would fit the story line with all the new buildings in Sparkle and people (NPCs) moving there to set up business. And when he cant repair something he guides you to Gelan or Sanction. Maybe it's Bubba's apprentice? Bubba is expanding his business? Bubba Inc.:)

Suggest it ingame?

Amberlee: Of course, but the house should not have more than like a 51-52% edge, that keeps your players thinking they can win. Too much house edges scare players away. Like in Cadu. Atleast their blackjack game have some extreme house odds. Brr.

But the whole Cadu place has always seemed a bit shady to me.:)

I think that Sparkle should have a topnotch smith, not just a "satisfactory" one. Theme wise it makes sense. What topnotch smith wants to hang out in a area that only gets X amount of traffic.

And lets face it, its a travisty that Theros in Sanction can't repair armours. People need to read the book about him. He learned from the effing minotaurs for gods sakes when he was a slave. Helped fix the armour of the minotaur generals, made weapons in Sanctions, took over Flints spot when he died.

Sparkle would be much busier if there was some Troll cave nearby or sewers full of giant rats (legend size or so...).
try that :)
