You can go further and have the Knights of Gondor (Peregrin Took ... a hobbit), the Ithilien branch (humans just like Faramir), North branch (humans, half-elves - Aragorn and Elrond's sons), the Shire militia branch (hobbits) and the Rivendell branch (elves obviously). All united under one common Captain, the branches could be just title-stuff based on race (like ogres) or give some perks or slightly gameplay changing abilities (i.e. current difference between trip and knee). Now who's the Captain - Faramir and Aragorn, who are quite both humans. However Aragorn did not consider humans to be superior over elves, did he? So with Aragorn and Faramir being captains, only lower ranks remain to be settled upon. Why not from the Rivendell, Shire or Gondor branch? Nothing I can remember about Lt. or Sgt. of the Rangers ...

So you get Rangers of Dunedains and rangers of Rivendell (that accept hobbits and half-elves as well)
If changes are being made there is nothing that don't say you cant change the companies a bit to fit in as well.
Please excuse the bad names.

Re: Ranger guild recode ...
So Ogre ranger is out of the question or?
Re: Ranger guild recode ...
Not at all - the moment it's not "army of darkness" and such ...
Re: Ranger guild recode ...
Since we don't allow double occ guild membership, we do seem to have a slight hitch there, yes. This of course saying nothing of how utterly wrong it would be.OgreToyBoy wrote:So Ogre ranger is out of the question or?

Re: Ranger guild recode ...
Do you think we could get a better messenger! Or at the very least make the ferret a little less useless?
Re: Ranger guild recode ...
Or you could learn to (ab)use the ferret like it has been since it was introduced ;P The only real use of the ferret EVER was to check if MMs were nearby ...
Re: Ranger guild recode ...
Ferrets are good if you can handle them well.
Time is precious. Waste it wisely.
