Fundraising Update

Genesisians,
Because I know not everyone who plays the game peeks into the Official
Forum, I wanted to give an update here on the Common Board.
The donation campaign for the promotion of Genesis is off to a fantastic
start! In just 30 days, nearly $2,800 USD has been donated by fewer than
20 people. I never doubted for a moment that there would be a response, but
I do admit to being surprised that so much would come from just a handful
of our players. We cannot thank these players enough!
Rather than a given dollar amount, participation is the goal of this donation
campaign. On the thread created on the Forum, I listed 30 participants
coming forward to be a good specific goal. In a month's time, we are
just under two-thirds of the way to reaching that goal. Some people might
be sheepish about contributing small amounts of money, but I want to assure
everyone that participation is the goal, not large amounts. The giving has
ranged from $10 to $500 from idividual donors. Any amount is wonderful to
see, and will bring us closer to our dream of building a deep new base of
players with whom to share our community.
Today, on the Official Forum, I have unveiled the website banner created
by Denis Loubet, the artist we have hired to create our visual brand. To
