Code: Select all
Donut Dwellers,
If you get a message about wrongness in the fabric of space when you
are trying to quit, it's likely that you are carrying too many herbs.
If you don't get rid of some of them and successfully save before
quitting, you risk losing all your herbs.
Please do not carry more than 1000 herbs at a time. If you do, and you
lose them, they will not be restored.
Should you have any questions about this, please send mail.

Is 1000 herbs the official limit from now on, or is this just a period until something gets fixed or how should players interpret this?
I presume it doesn't matter if things are in containers or not - but leftovers, potions and the like, they don't count into the 1000 limit, do they?

From a technical standpoint, it really only applies to herbs. It's entirely possible that you could end up losing the other objects if you have too many of them, but it's not likely.
Making herbs recover faster during login was a good thing from a playability perspective, but it's really testing the boundaries of the architectural design of herbs in the game.
And yes, we are looking to fix this problem. But as you can suspect, things related to herbs have always taken a while to get right. The implications of getting it wrong is that spell asters get very upset.

Spellcasters (at least some) are very upset already.
