If I may contribute to what Krysilis said.
As someone who has come and gone a handful of times over the
past 20 or so years, I think it is important that we enjoy
Genesis for what it is, now. Not for just what it was.
Nostalgia prompts many of us to log in again after an absence,
but to remain -- ah! that requires us to release our death grip
on memories of how it once was, let go of our preconceived
notions of how it should be, and be present to what Genesis is
now, today. Otherwise, dissatisfaction infects us, and when
that happens, it is appropriate to remove ourselves.
So.. Welcome, returning heroes and villains! And to those
whose dissatisfaction takes them from us -- never farewell.
I hope we see you again, sooner rather than later.
