Ranger guild recode ...

I've officially signed on to be the wizard who recodes the Ranger guild. I haven't tackled a recode since way back when I did the Mercenaries, so I'm a bit rusty, but I'll do my best! Also, this will not need to be nearly so drastic a recode as what the Mercenaries got, which was actually a new guild built entirely from scratch.
With the Rangers, my plans are to review each of their spells and abilities, decide if they should be kept, and then decide if they need to be changed. In addition to this, they will be receiving new abilities which are geared toward infusing new life into their theme and their capabilities in the game.
A core aspect of who the Rangers are is tied to the legacy of their bloodlines. As such, I will also be recoding the Dunedain guild. Members of the Dunedain guild should be ready for massive changes, which will include a wipe of all house leaders and reconstruction of how that guild functions. Its current form relies on activity and responsive care of leaders, which in far too many cases does not exist. Synergy will be involved between these two guilds, giving perks to Rangers who are also Dunedain, and perks to Dunedain who are rangers (most likely.) If you are evil and feel this is unfair, please listen to the soft music of my violin.
More info will follow as progress is made. Most progress for now is on the drawing board.

[moderator: Apparently, Cotillion has taken up comedy, and believes using April 1 as its own joke is for the good of the order. What order, and what good remains a matter of constant debate. All I know is Lars is meeting with my lawyers next Tuesday to discuss cease and desist order paperwork.]
