Angmar gates

Could it perhaps be changed so people of the good alignment cant just promise
to join and walk in. They get access to AA Pub, Mess Hall, PO, Sacred room, and
Start location.

I dont mind visitors in the pub, or mess hall, or post office, or even the sacred
room. But I do mind that they can walk right in to our start location. And should
want to block and kill us there, we would stand no chance. Seems a bit off.
And if memory serves me right.. It has happened before and history tends to
repeat it self. Even if they couldnt enter the start location, they still can block us
from getting to our racks.. So is it unfair to ask that an evil guild, does not allow
people of good allignment inside their halls ?

With the Calians and Monks free to do what they want, I seek the means to keep
my fellow angmarians safe when In their home.

Wouldn't evidence of their presence in your halls be enough to have them kicked out of their guilds in retaliation? For the only way they could have entered is by promising to join an evil army.

Technically they could just say that it was a rouse to gain access to evil's inner sanctum and strike at its heart.

I support Alorrana in this. Good-aligned players shouldn't be able to 'promise to join the army'.

A promise is a promise. You told me you loved me!

It was a lie in good faith ;)

The guards attack you when you promise and leave without joining, but I don't think it's deterrent enough.

I support Alorrana on this.

Though, either they promise, enter and join, or they leave in bodybags.

It seems like a reasonable request to me. Eowul is probably the one to talk to about it.

Guard: -> Promise to join the army to enter!
Player: -> I promise to join the army
Guard: -> Good to hear you promise to do so. Your promise will promptly be posted on the boards in Bree, Minas Morgul and Pelargir. Next we require you to go abandon your path of dreaded light and return when you have entered the path of shadows.<if both in occ and lay guild/in un-combineable guild add:>You will also have to abandon one of your previous allegiances that conflict with service in the Army!
Player: -> So now I can enter, right?
Guard: -> Oh, no no... You have to furfil the promise first!
Player: -> but...but... waaaaaaait!!!
Guard: -> Good luck with making your preparations. Farewell traveler!

Personally,i think it would be more fun if you were able to loot enemy guilds.

Of course, I would find it quite annoying when someone looted my guild:-) might even flame about it.

But only one where you can go into start is quite strange.
