Bug Report: Script Editor Caret Misplacement

Recently, the caret appears in very weird places to the point that it's almost impossible to know where you're going to be typing without trying it. The caret thinks it's at the end of a 70 character line but only shows as being two spaces away from the 0th character spot. Obviously one can simply copy and paste from another text editor, but it's very annoying that even simple tweaks are a hassle because of this.
