Went searching on reddit.. and found that people were recommending this site mudstats.com as a place to find good/active muds.

Its not really showing updated info of our player activity. Looks like they pull info based on this file : http://tintin.sourceforge.net/mssp/ - which is way over my head in terms of trying to understand.

Can someone with more knowledge perhaps take a look at this and find a way to get our info more updated? The last data they seem to have is from 2013 player activity. Which does not really reflect our current reality.

I did some stuff, we'll have to wait and see if they pick up our actual player numbers now.

It hasn't picked it up yet.

Still not seeing any improvement in our numbers.

something has changed..

there is no longer graphs showing for Genesis. And the number of players (estimate) dropped from 18 to 16

Maybe make it a scheduled event that pushes the MSSP-data at peak our peak hours?

Mudstats is unfortunately not even spidering Genesis and the site appears to be abandoned by the developers.

Oh, what a shame.. I guess one way would be to just share and share in social media like Facebook, twitter etc

I spend a lot of time on Reddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/MUD/
responding to people looking for a mud to play or being part of discussions there.
Having more players from Genesis on there would certainly help - either promoting our mud
or just being part of the general discussions that people have as any anecdotal information might compel people to come check us out.
