Does carlsan have anything more after his get you to do library quests?

Having to do the census as a big player is pretty lame.
Yes it might be a opportunity to do blah blah blah but I think it would be good to be able to cut it short especially if there are other quests tied in to you completing it.

Also hear new players complaining about it.

Honestly this signature quest was great in theory.
To encourage RP and contacting other players.
But I am so sick and tired of being included in a mass mail from some newbie
begging me to come sparkle to sign his book with ZERO RP.

Maybe if we lowered it to 10 signatures?

I think that would improve it a bit. I agree with Kitriana, it's annoying to get included in mass OOC letters. Either 10 signatures or lower the signing age to 5 days. Or both.

Agree with Ody's suggestions ... Though I realize the age requirement is one to keep players just having friends with alts to complete it.
Also - I would suggest that you be able to continue doing other quests with the same questmaster while you finish it.
Players want to carry on questing.. and so are forced to try to get their signatures in a hurry in order to do so.
I think it would be more meaningful if they could carry around the signature book WHILE they were doing the other sparkle quests.

Great idea, then ppl can skip it till later if they want

Make it 5 as that number is sufficient for what the quest is intending and also that number is easier to attain in a guild one has joined be it a secretive one or not.

I have not done this quest on any of my characters previous or current simply as I am not the kind of person to pester people.
I have signed one or two books but I usually simply ignore the one asking and dont intro to new players much as I dont want to be pestered myself.

It has a more negative impact on my interaction (or current lack of) with new players than anything else I can think of (except the bad behaviour of some new players)

People have always been able to do Nikolon's other quest. The signature book does not halt you from that.

It is carlsan who is asking that u do the library and green oaks quests before moving on.

That is the last of Carlsan's quest - the meta quest to do all the other quests. So it is not halting you, just the final piece to the puzzle.
