Speeding
Posting for a friend. Big Praise and Thanks for the Officer who gave just a warning.... but we are all dying to know who you play on Genesis.
Ok ok .. I'm being asked to be less cryptic.
Evidently ... a Gen player went out in their car to get a drink. Was speeding back home to get back to their hunting party on Genesis. Got pulled over for speeding. Officer asked why they were speeding. And so decided to be honest and say they were rushing back to a game .. Genesis. Officer's response - "oh the lpmud i love that game" .
Who knew Genesis would be so rewarding in RL.

Re: Speeding
The odds of this ... just ... staggering!!
That's it! I just need to get all local law enforcement hooked on Genesis. My auto-insurance premiums can return to decent levels!

Re: Speeding
Someone speeding in California? Unheard of!
It's like saying the people drive too fast in Canada..
In all seriousness though, that's cool. The odds are staggeringly against such an occurrence. (Sadly)
Although, the officer wasn't doing his job if he didn't give the guy/gal at least a warning..
Driving recklessly is a serious thing.

OMG
I wonder who that officer was playing.
I bet a very chaotic unlawful character.

Absolutely not. Emraht would never let you off with just a warning.Rincon wrote:I bet it was Emraht

Ahaha.
This made me spit my tea
The views posted by me on this forum is not the views of the character Amberlee in-game.
If you ask for my opinion here, you will get MY opinion, not that of my character.

Agreed. Californians never use stop signs. They are a "suggestion", slowing down is good enoughMelarec wrote:Someone speeding in California? Unheard of!
